Why even get a facial?
I know, I know. Hearing it from someone who profits from it for a living always gives you a weird feeling knowing they are trying to sell you something. Think of it like going to the dentist for a professional teeth cleaning. You brush your teeth every morning and night, some people I know, after ever meal. But still, you will go in every six months to see the professional for them to use their special tools on you. Basically, you’re looking at the same concept with your skin care.
Having a professional spend almost an hour on your skin, making sure they are getting into every nook and cranny of your face along with making sure those professional grade products are where they need to be for exactly how long they should be, it hits. The feeling of your face feeling refreshed afterwards, you have an overall feeling of brand new. Referring back to the dentist, how it feels to run your tongue over your teeth after it has been freshly cleaned.
If you do choose to jump onto my super comfy bed for your monthly treatment, let me give you a little breakdown of the possibilities. We start off with a double cleanse. First is normally the Vitamin Veil Cleansing Oil, being tough enough to remove makeup and impurities from the skin, but also nourishing and protecting the natural skin barrier.
After that, there is potential to begin mixology into our facial to give each client a treatment truly tailored to their skins needs. Second cleanse happens, then normally steam and an enzyme. My favorite go to is the Cocoa Enzyme. It works on all skin types and has a lovely smell of chocolate, which almost almost makes me crave my favorite dessert.
Depending on your skins needs, we usually will veer into multiple different directions. We can be doing a facial massage, extractions, or treatment masking.
Within the treatment, serums are selected and can be massaged in several different ways onto the face, sometimes even spot treatments are used.
I will always finish your skin off with a hydrator and if the sun is till up, a sunscreen to keep you protected. Getting a full service facial will also include a short upper body massage while your mask does it’s work on your face.
Fresh skin and 50 min off your feet with nothing to worry about? Why not right? Schedule your first of your monthly facials today.
